Designed with the purpose of balancing classic and modern design styles to create a composition that would not only appeal to the older generations familiar with this media, but also give it a fresh up to date feel. This was done by pairing the forties somewhat airy watercolor illustration style with a  traditional cursive text that is in contrast to the modern typeface used for the show title.
